Flight Duty Tracker is committed to maintaining the highest level of privacy for its clients. Toward that end, Flight Duty Tracker has established policies and procedures to ensure that all data is handled with the utmost discretion at all timesin a secure online environment.

 

Nature of the system and purpose:

 

The data collected in the software is meant to only track flight times that are entered into the system and does not track the pilots location other than what is entered at the time it was entered. The system does not use or resell the data in anyway and the sole purpose of the system is to provide compliance reporting and ensure regulations are followed.

 

The Flight Duty Tracker platform is designed to perform two basic functions:

 

-          To serve as an online platform that facilitates pilots to enter theirduty time into a central system

-          To ensure compliance reporting to ensure regulations are followed

 

In order to perform these two specific functions, Flight Duty Tracker ’s service limits private information to the following:

 

-          Name and email address for the posting Pilot

-          Information related to the basic parameters of the flight including duty times

-          Type of flight

 

Personal data and data you provided directly:

The only data that is collected about you is what is entered in the system at the time of creating a user account. There is basic information held on the system such as first name, last name and email address. Other than that information the data you enter as a pilot for flight duty times is stored in the system and cannot be deleted to ensure compliance. If there is a request to remove an entry on the system due to incorrect information entered please contact your system administrator and request that the data be removed accordingly.

 

Personal communication:

Your email address is needed to setup an account in flight duty tracker, you may receive emails associated with that email address for notifications related to duty times or password reset functions. Other than that, the contact information will not be reused, repurposed or transferred sold without your express written consent.

 

Data we may collect:

We may use the software to revisit your flights, patterns, or access of the system. This is meant to understand how you are interacting with the system and how to make improvements on the system. The purpose of this is to improve the system over time.

 

Sensitive personal information:

We do not collect any sensitive personal information about youor any information that is related to patient information with the flights entered. This system is strictly meant to track compliance around flight duty times for pilots.

 

How long do we store your data?

We store flight duty data on our servers related to the data entered in by the pilots that use the system. Access to this information is granted to authorized employees, and service providers who require it for the specified purposes. The retention of personal data will be limited to the time necessary to fulfill the original purpose or adhere to legal, regulatory, or internal policy obligations. In determining the appropriate retention period, we consider the relevant legal requirements and require storing the data indefinitely.
